How is the theme of sacrifice reflected in the art forms of ancient Teotihuacan, the Aztec, and the Maya?  Discuss (not simply list) at least three specific examples of art or architecture forms related to sacrifice that we have discussed in class (these examples must represent at least two of the three cultures, e.g. the art forms you discuss must be drawn from more than one culture). What do these peoples' sacred stories/mythology tell us about sacrifice--why it is performed? (cite at least two stories to support your points)  What role does sacrifice play in their cultures?
