LEXARTS Field Trip

Please visit the LEXARTS website and learn about their mission and outreach. Pay particular attention to the grants they sponsor and the application guidelines for each.

We will be visiting both of their facilities: Arts Place and the Downtown Arts Center. In the SKO City Gallery we will view the Lexington public art grant proposals and meet with Nathan Zamarron, Community Arts Manager.

Check out Horse Mania, the public art project organized in conjunction with the World Equestrian Games.

We will leave campus at 11:30, arrive in downtown Lexington at approximately 12:45, eat lunch (a number of eateries are possible), and meet at the Downtown Arts Center for our visit with Nathan Zamarron at 1:30. We will return to Morehead around 5 PM.
